Music Ministry

Purpose & Pastoral Alignment
The BWBC Music Ministry exists to faithfully support and advance the spiritual vision of Ben Washington Baptist Church by cultivating worship that is Christ-centered, Spirit-led, and rooted in biblical truth. This ministry functions as a discipleship arm of the church, strengthening congregational worship while remaining fully aligned with pastoral leadership and church doctrine.

Mission Statement
The mission of the BWBC Music Ministry is to glorify God through Christ-centered worship that unites voices and instruments in excellence, proclaims the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and invites all people into authentic, Spirit-led praise.  We equip believers to steward their God-given gifts with humility and discipline, engage the congregation in meaningful worship, and create sacred moments where hearts are restored, and lives are drawn to Christ.

Vision for 2026 and Beyond
Our vision is to cultivate a worship ministry that is spiritually grounded, relationally healthy, and
excellence-driven—one that develops worshippers rather than performers, strengthens unity across generations, and supports the preaching and teaching ministry of the church through worship that magnifies the Word and welcomes the presence of God.

Leadership Commitment
The leadership of the BWBC Music Ministry is committed to serving with integrity, humility, and accountability; preparing spiritually and musically as an act of worship; and shepherding ministry members with compassion, prayer, and pastoral care. All ministry efforts are stewarded to reflect God’s glory and bear lasting spiritual fruit.
