Dr. Oyedokun has served in pastoral ministry for seventeen years. He was called to the Good Hope Baptist Church in August of 2008. On September 7, 2008 he preached his first sermon as pastor at Good Hope Baptist Church. He transitioned from Good Hope Baptist Church in July of 2021 to Forney, TX. He founded Love Community Baptist Church in Forney, TX with the first service on April 10, 2022. He is currently serving as Senior Pastor of the Historic Ben Washington Baptist Church in Irving, TX, after being called in September of 2025.
His personal interests include a love for technology, playing golf and sports; he played football for Stephen F. Austin in college. Dr. Oyedokun also founded Doke Enterprises, LLC and Doke Ministries, Inc., a non-profit that focuses on youth. He earned his Master of Divinity in Theology from G.W. Truett Seminary at Baylor University after obtaining his Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Stephen F. Austin State University. He earned his Doctor of Ministry in Advanced Expository Preaching from Dallas Theological Seminary and together with his wife (Shantell) and three children (Emari, Shirah and Genesis), reside in the Dallas area. He was on staff at Dallas Theological Seminary as the Associate Director of Ministry Formation.
